Art is nothing but a path towards consciousness to re-establish a balance with the whole

Nature unconditionally bestows itself with its infinite, beautiful forms. Humans contemplate and meditate upon it, experiencing such a state of balance and beatitude that they often feel the desire to seek its Beyond. But what does it mean to seek the Beyond? How can we seek the Beyond, beyond matter? By traversing the meanders of the universal imagination, where it is possible to discover always something new and at the same time discover oneself and connect with one’s inner self. When we travel within the universal imagination, we enter the world of true knowledge, the purest and most profound, where visions expand and creativity takes strength, liberating potential and talents, which then emerge unreservedly from the obscurity. Therefore, Art Therapy, Drama Therapy, and Art Education become indispensable techniques to acquire experiential tools to unveil beauty—inner, mental, and aesthetic. My proposal is to explore your beauty together, by embarking on one or more of my own Art-based journeys, online and/or in person. In the video here, I talk about some of the many methods I’ve developed and used during these Art journeys, to help you connect with the most beautiful and creative part of yourself. Soon after, please click on the orange, green, and purple boxes below to explore my Art therapy or Art education programs. If you prefer though a more traditional, art-historical approach, click on the purple and blue boxes. Then, contact me and request a free online meeting. I will help you to choose the path best suited to your inner and/or intellectual needs.

Anna Bruno, il Periegeta

The word periegeta derives from the Greek word periēgeîsthai, to lead around. Inspired by the Greek philosopher and traveler Pausanias the Periegete, while still very young, I embarked on my own journey around myself where I let humanistic disciplines  lead me. Even today, I indulge in the pleasure of ever new inner journeys, savoring their flavor each time. And little by little, I continue to sculpt away the superfluous in order to discover new potentials and nurture my talents. I also acquire new psycological and cultural tools, indispensable for an ever better myself and helping others on their own journey around themselves. How? Naturally with Art, through Art…

A special and poetic slow walking tour through the wayward sculptures of the English artist Tony Cragg inside at the high-sounding walls of the ancient Diocletion’s Baths, with Anna Bruno
