The Papal Rome

Surprise itinerary
Starting from your hotel (or from Piazza del Popolo of your choice), we will get lost among avenues, squares, streets and alleys, discovering an unusual and possibly very untouristy Rome. I will tell you how the city of the pomp and splendor, ancient Rome, transformed into a Medieval city disputed between Guelphs and Ghibellines. And from Baroque Rome into the neoclassical Rome of the grandtourists in the 18th century, again into the capital of Italy.
